![[PL/ENG] Wyspa Attu była naszym pierwszym przystankiem na Aleutach. Do Zatoki Masakra wpłynęliśmy już późną nocą, więc nie było widać nic oprócz zarysów okolicznych gór. Rano kiedy tylko przebudziłam się, to od razu wyskoczyłam z łóżka i wyszłam na zewnątrz. Zawsze, kiedy dopływamy do miejsca nocą, to poranek odsłania je przed nami. Lubię te momenty.
Wyszłam do kokpitu, rozejrzałam się. Głęboka zatoka rozciągała się za rufą Krysi. Pozostałości jakichś budynków rozrzucone na zielonym dywanie łąk na brzegu. Szkielet rozwalonego, drewnianego pomostu niedaleko nas, a na nim stado kormoranów z ledwo opierzonymi małymi. A nad tym wszystkim czuwały szczyty gór. Zaniemówiłam.

ENG Attu Island was our first stop in the Aleutians. To the Massacre Bay we arrived late at night, so we could see only the outlines of the surrounding mountains. In the morning when I wake up, I jumped out of the bed and went outside. Always when we reach our destination at night, it’s only in the morning when we discover the area around. I like and enjoy those moments.
So I went out to the cockpit, looked around. Deep bay was behind the stern of Crystal. Remains of some buildings scattered on the green carpet of the meadows ashore. Skeleton of the old wooden pier not far from us and a flock of cormorants with newborns. And all these surrounded by the mountains. I was speechless.
